Leonard “Lenny” Tierney, Founder / President / Chief Executive Officer
Lenny is a staffing industry entrepreneur with over thirty-five years of industry specific experience starting at Technical Aid Corporation. For over twenty-two years of his career, Lenny has dedicated his time to building Madison Resources. Lenny has groomed a unique senior management team with more than one hundred years of combined staffing industry experience in the areas of sales, recruiting, finance, management and M&A in both small and large sized private and public staffing firms. Madison has funded well over 200 companies with revenues closing in on a Billion dollars in revenue, in forty-eight states and in Canada.
Richard J. Chipman, Executive Vice President / Chief Financial Officer
Rick joined Madison Resources in 2013 with over thirty years of staffing specific industry experience, eighteen of them with TAD Resources International. TAD, at the time of its sale to Adecco had $1.2B in revenue, 365 offices in the US, Canada & England and was employing thirty-five thousand contingent workforce weekly. As CFO, Rick oversaw the successful acquisition and integration of over one hundred companies. He also spent seven years with Kenda Systems, an IT specific provider of contingent workforce with offices throughout the US and England and two other staffing niche businesses in the IT and skilled construction trade. Rick has an undergraduate degree in Economics and Business and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance & Taxation.
Michelle McCowan, Vice President / Corporate Controller
Michelle joined Madison Resources in August 2009 as General Accounting Manager. Four years later, after installing a proper system of internal controls, redesigning monthly financial statements and completely overhauling the reconciliation process, she was promoted to Corporate Controller. She currently manages the Finance, General Accounting, Billing, Collections, Treasury, Client Reporting, Client Services, Risk Management and Contracts Administration departments consisting of 12 direct reports and 45 indirect reports. Additionally, Michelle oversees external audits / bank exams and corporate tax administration. She was promoted to Vice President in June 2015. Prior to joining Madison, she spent seven years at Symantec and Attachmate, in various accounting manager roles. Her early career was spent in the regional accounting firms of Baker, Newman & Noyes based In Maine and Cummings, Lamont & McNamee in New Hampshire following an Internal Auditor role at TD Bank. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Accounting and Finance from Franklin Pierce College where she graduated summa cum laude. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maine.
Lisa Campbell, Senior Manager, Payroll
Lisa joined Madison Resources in 2006 as a Payroll Administrator before being promoted to Payroll Team Lead, then Assistant Payroll Manager, and Payroll Manager. She came to Madison Resources with over 20 years of customer service, management and employee development experience. She ensures compliance with state and federal payroll tax laws, labor statutes and regulations. Lisa manages and resolves issues relating to payroll production and reviews, updates, creates and implements payroll controls, policies and procedures. She also collaborates with the Technology Services Department on the development, modification, maintenance and enhancements of all Payroll interfaces and systems. Lisa holds an Associates of Science in Business Management from McIntosh College and graduated with honors from the RWC Regional Technology Center – Business Skills & Occupations. She is a Certified Staffing Professional and has Certifications in Accounting and Business Law.
Michael Carbonneau, Manager of Corporate Administration
Michael joined Madison Resources in 2015 as Manager of Corporate Administration. Michael oversees various departments including corporate support, purchasing, facilities and Human Resources. Michael came to Madison via a couple of technology startups specifically in the telecom space where he focused on all areas of operations including Accounting, Human Resources, Customer Service and Network Operations. Prior to that, Michael was a Manager at a technology market research firm in Massachusetts where his groups provided research to management consulting companies, investment bankers and IT channel vendors. Michael received his B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and is a certified Human Resources Professional (PHR) with HRCI.
